Winner of the 2010 Los Angeles International Liszt Piano Competition, Mr. Wei-En Hsu is now having a busy performing career throughout the States, Europe, and Asia. A native of Taiwan, he received his BFA degree in Piano at Taipei National University of the Arts, and was pleased to be the only candidate at Juilliard selected to Royal Academy of Music, London as an exchange student.
After his debut as a conductor for "Ariadne auf Naxos" at CCM, he has conducted "Cosi fan tutte", "The Magic Flute", "Tosca", "Le nozze di Figaro", "Hansel and Gretel" in New York metropolitan area. Mr. Hsu has worked as a repetiteur for One World Symphony, British Youth Opera, and Amore Opera for their opera productions. He also has the abilities of coaching in Italian, German, French, English, Latin, as well as in Russian, Korean, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. Mr. Hsu is the winner of many awards, recently including Sing for Hope Grant for Arts Activism and Community Outreach (2009), and the Los Angeles International Liszt Piano Competition(2010).
Starting September 2012, Mr. Hsu takes the repetiteur position at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
自2009年指揮辛辛那提音樂院之歌劇《納克索斯山上的阿莉阿德涅》之後，接續受邀於大紐約地區指揮《魔笛》《托斯卡》《糖果屋》《女人皆如此》《費加洛婚禮》等劇。曾應邀巡迴全台各地並前往德、澳、中、韓、日、美、英、法、比、義、土耳其、以色列、羅馬尼亞等地演出；在美期間也多次擔任One World Symphony, British Youth Opera, Amore Opera聲樂指導。徐惟恩亦為多項比賽優勝者，包括於2009年獲為希望而唱(Sing for Hope)基金會藝術行動與社區推廣獎及 2010年獲『洛杉磯國際李斯特音樂大賽』鋼琴組優勝等。
